The Hatchetmen at Home

7th placed Carrick Rangers host 11th placed Crusaders, as the split gets underway.

The 'Gers go into Saturday's league game fresh from a 2-0 win over current league champions Linfield. Goals from Matthew Olosunde and Luke McCullough sealed three points last Friday night in front of over 100 investors.

For Crusaders, they ended a run of five league defeats with a goalless draw at Portadown last Saturday. That point moving them above Glenavon at the foot of the table.

The sides last met at Seaview at the end of 2025, the game ending 2-2 with former Carrick player Kurtis Forsythe netting the equaliser for Crusaders in the second half.

It was back in November the sides last met at Taylors Avenue, Crusaders winning 2-1 against 10-man Carrick Rangers, who had Kyle Cherry sent off.

Results for both clubs since have been contrasting, Crusaders picking up 12 points (20 games, 3 wins, 3 draws) since that fixture, whilst Carrick have picked up 27 points (20 games, 7 wins, 6 draws).

For Stephen Baxter, Nedas Maciulaitis (knee), Ethan Boyle (knee) and Seanan Clucas (knee) remain on the sidelines. Scott Pengelly and Ethan Boyle continue their rehab plans. Adam Lecky is a doubt with a minor knock. Billy Joe Burns is available having served his suspension.

Your support, as always, would be greatly appreciated and below, you can find information for ticketing arrangements.
