Carrick host Coleraine in Cup

The Clearer Water Irish Cup Round 6 takes place this Saturday, with Carrick Rangers hosting Coleraine.

The 'Gers go into Saturday's fixture aiming to extend their unbeaten run to eight games, having most recently overcome Bangor on Tuesday evening, thanks to goals from Billy Joe Burns, Ryan McKay and Adam Lecky.

Meanwhile, the Bannsiders were also in action on Tuesday, losing out at the semi-final stage of the League Cup to Glentoran, the tie ended 1-1 after 90 minutes, Joel Cooper with the Coleraine goal, but the Glens found the net in extra time to progress.

It's been 12 months since the sides last met at Taylors Avenue, Coleraine winning by a single goal on the day, scored by Rhys Campbell.

Stephen Baxter remains without without Ethan Boyle (knee), Nedas Maciulaitis (knee), Cameron Stewart, Jimmy Callacher (knee), Seanan Clucas (knee) and Nathan Gartside (quadricep).
