Year End at Seaview

Carrick Rangers travel to Seaview on Tuesday evening, for the final game of 2025.

In what has become a New Years tradition in the fixture book, Crusaders host Carrick Rangers with just two points separating the sides. The 'Gers arrive at Seaview on Tuesday having lost out to Larne on Boxing Day. Paul Heatley put the Amber Army ahead on the hour mark and the 'Gers were well placed for a deserved result, however two goals conceded in the closing 15 minutes meant Larne left with all three points.

For Crusaders, they recorded a 2-1 win over North Belfast rivals Cliftonville on Boxing Day thanks to a Ryan Curran own goal before Adam Brooks sealed the win three minutes from time. Cliftonville would grab a consolation goal late into stoppage time.

The sides last met at Seaview on the opening day of the season, with Carrick coming back from three goals down to win 4-3, with a brace from Danny Gibson and two from the spot from Jack Scott.

Stephen Baxter remains without without Ethan Boyle, Nedas Maciulaitis (both knee), and Cameron Stewart. Joe Crowe and Jimmy Callacher remain doubtful having picked up knocks in recent weeks, with Kyle Cherry also unavailable having picked up a hamstring injury on Boxing Day.

Your support, as always, would be greatly appreciated and below, you can find information for ticketing arrangements.
