Glenavon the Visitors

Fresh off the back of a seven-goal thriller, the ‘Gers welcome Glenavon to Taylors Avenue this Saturday for their first home game of the new league campaign.

‘Gers fans will be hoping the team can build on the success of last Saturday, perhaps without some the drama after the ‘Gers came back from 0-3 down at the half-hour mark, to win 4-3, thanks to a brace of penalties from Jack Scott in his first appearance, and a double from Danny Gibson.

For Glenavon, they travel to Taylors Avenue having been defeated 0-2 by Ballymena United on opening day. It’s been a summer of change at Mourneview Park with 9 players in the door and 16 departing, including Matthew Snoddy who could face up against his former club this Saturday.

From the ‘Gers playing squad, Stephen Baxter remains without the services of Ethan Boyle, Seanan Clucas (both knee), Reece Glendinning (hand) and Cameron Stewart.

Your support, as always, would be greatly appreciated and below, you can find information for ticketing arrangements.
