Irvine departs Taylors Avenue

Carrick Rangers would like to place on record its sincere thanks and best wishes to Scott Irvine following his departure from the Club earlier this week.

Following his playing days at the Club, Irvine returned to CRFC to take charge of the U20’s side 2017, developing a number of young players, including current First Team player, Kurtis Forsythe, before progressing to the First Team coaching staff on the arrival of Stuart King in the Summer of 2021.

Carrick Rangers Vice Chairman John Hood commented,

“On behalf of the Club, I would like to thank Scott for his professionalism and enthusiasm over the last six years.

The Club has progressed significantly in this time frame, and that is in no small part down to the efforts of Scott, firstly as U20’s manager, and later as part of the First Team coaching staff.

Naturally, all of us at Carrick Rangers wish Scott well and look forward to welcoming him back to Taylors Avenue in the future.”
